February Shutdown - During the traditional February shut-down maintenace and repair tasks were undertaken. Works included:
  • Re-railing and Trackwork both sides of Bendigo Road Level Crossing in preparation for track circuiting for Flashing Lights.

Maldon Cleanup - A cleanup of Maldon Yard was undertaken during March; this included relocation to Castlemaine Yard of several off-tracked goods vehicles which had been stored at Maldon. The stock transfer train was hauled by Y133 with the driver experience train vehicles attached for extra braking.

Steam Trains for Kids - Another successful event was held with the main focus being shifted from Maldon to Muckleford.

Maldon - Toilets and Salesroom - Work commenced on the extension of Maldon Station to house new toilets (Male, Female & Disabled) as well as a large Sales area.

Muckleford - No. 3 Road - after work days over several months and an intense effort over the long weekend the now complete number 3-road saw its first train through the up end turnout in the form of a ballast train consisting of Y133 the two QN ballast hoppers and the ballast plough.

DERM 61RM - Transferred by road to South Gippsland Railway.

CMRPS Annual Meeting held at Porcupine Township Restaurant, Maldon.

Maldon Toilets & Shop Offical Opening - The new toilet block and shop at Maldon were officially opened by the Member for Bendigo West, the Honorable Bob Cameron. This was Bob's last official function as member for Bendigo West before his retirement from parliament.

E Cars to Seymour The 4 VGR E cars (18AE, 2BCE, 20BE, & 15BE) were transferred by rail to Seymour for inclusion in the Wooden Carriage Collective. B74 conveyed the cars from the VGR yard at Castlemaine to Seymour Rail Heritage Centre via Sunshine.
