George Young - It is with much sadness and deep regret that we marked the death of George Young, Georges tireless efforts for the VGR over the previous two years where ones which the VGR will always admire George for. George was a very active Board member of the CMRPS and it was his efforts that made the Picnic at Muckleford a great success two years running.

Maldon Sation Fire -The night of Tuesday 20th of October a fire broke out in the Sation Building causing major damage, the fire was believed to be started by a fidge in the Kitchen (down end) of the building, quickly spreading to the booking office and into the roof. Thanks to CFA efforts the blaze was largely contained to the two down end rooms with only roof and water damage in the up end.
