Locomotive K160 & items of rolling stock arrive at Castlemaine on special train from Bendigo hauled by Y141. Transfer sponsored by Bendigo Building Society.
Restoration of K160 commences in Castlemaine Yard.
Woolen Co. donates power, water and runs air line to work area at no cost to Society.
Mining Co. donates $500 for use of goods shed at Maldon.
Victoria 150th Anniversary grant Application submitted to Premiers department.
