Muckleford Station & Yard
Toilet Block
A private donation to the VGR has funded the provision of a toilet block at Muckleford.
During the redevelopment prior to the 1996 opening to Muckleford, a septic tank was installed, this has now been put to use with this new facility.
The new toilet block has been located a short distance behind the station building, taking advantage of the collection of rain water from the station building and the closeness of an electricity supply. This is the approximate location of the former departmental residence provided in earlier VR days, which also served as the local post office.
The toilet block is located near the picnic area part of which can be seen to the right of the toilet block.
