Track Work

These shots show a Saturday track gang at the task of replacing 8 sleepers in the cutting on the upside of Pipeline Crossing. While replacing sleepers, the sleeper spacing is re-aligned to our now standard of 9 sleepers per rail length. As the tamper was not available, this work was hand tamped. About 25 sleepers were realigned.
